Dr. Gurinder Mohan passed his MBBS (1990) and MD Medicine (1996) from GMC, Amritsar. He joined the Department of Medicine, sgrduhs in 1996, Presently he is Professor since 2008 and Head of the Department since 2011.

He has been conferred upon the Fellowship of Indian College of Physician (ICP) and Indian Association of Clinical Medicine (IACM). He is the Regional Faculty of Certificate Course in Evidence based Diabetes Mellitus (CCEBDM), Certificate Course in Evidence Based Management of Diabetic Retinopathy (CCDR), Certificate Course in Management of Hypertension (CCMH), Certificate Course in Management of Thyroid Disorders (CCMTD), and Advanced Certificate Course in Prevention and Management of Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease (ACMDC) run by Public Health Foundation of India.

Dr. Gurinder Mohan’s keen interest in Academics has led him to participate in various International & National Conferences as a speaker and chairperson of various sessions. He also had the honor to organize National Medicine Update by Indian College of Physician (API) and National Diabetes Summit. He also organized National PG Meet in 2019.

He has around 25 publications in various National & International Journals to his credit. He has written around 10 chapters in Medicine Update which are published annually by API. He has supervised postgraduate thesis work on various topics.

He has also completed the 2-year EULAR Rheumatic Disease Course, along with the EULAR/PReS Course in Paediatric Rheumatology. In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Singh has completed the Basic Course in Biomedical Research and the Basic Course in Medical Education, underscoring his commitment to evidence-based practice and academic excellence. He has actively contributed to the field by participating in and presenting at multiple national and international rheumatology conferences.
