Dr. Manjit Singh passed his MBBS in 1984 from Govt Medical College Amritsar. He did PCMS from 1987 to 1994. He did M.D (Psychiatry) in Dec 1997 from Govt Medical College Patiala. He did his senior residency from 2002 to 2005 at GMC Amritsar. He was promoted to Assistant Professor in GMC Amritsar and referred as an Associate Professor from GMC Amritsar on 31-01-2023. He joined as Professor on 01-02-2023 at SGRD Amritsar. He served as President of Punjab Chandigarh Psychiatry Society for one year.

Dr. Piyush Mahajan did MBBS (2013) from Government Medical College, Faridkot and MD (2017) in Psychiatry from Government Medical College, Amritsar. He was awarded the Gold Medal by BFUHS for topping his MD Psychiatry examination in the university. He joined sgrduhs and is presently Assistant Professor of Psychiatry.

He has experience of working in Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST) clinic and deaddiction centre at GMC, Amritsar during postgraduation. He also has expertise in delivering modified ECTs and has been applying various psychotherapies and counselling techniques in indoor and outdoor patients. He has been actively giving talks on different mental health problems in various awareness programs including webinars through various NGOs like Girl up Muskurahat and Medical Students Association of India. He has presented various papers, posters and symposia in national conferences and has been a part of the Organizing Committee of zonal conferences.

Dr Mahajan is a member of Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS), Indian Medical Association (IMA), American Psychiatric Association (APA), National Association of Palliative Care for AYUSH and Integrative Medicine (NAPCAIM).

He has special interest in the neurological interface of psychiatry especially in EEG.

Dr Piyush Mahajan is certified as Sleep specialist through the first online certificate course on insomnia conducted by World Psychiatric Association and Indian Psychiatric Society.

Dr. Malvika Dahuja did her MBBS (2014) and MD (2018) in Psychiatry from Subharti Medical College, Meerut. She did Senior Residency from GMC, Saharanpur, and Dr. Vidyasagar Institute of Mental Health, Amritsar. Presently, she is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at SGRDIMSR.

She gained expertise in delivering modified ECTs, performing various types of psychotherapy, counseling techniques, treating many chronically mentally ill indoor patients and forensic psychiatry cases.

She was a Young Psychiatrist Fellowship Awardee in the World Psychiatric Association International Conference at Berlin (2017). She has been part of Organizing Committees of various zonal and national conferences and has been actively speaking and writing on various mental health awareness programs at platforms like BioPatrika. She is a peer reviewer of SAGE-UK and has 9 publications including 2 original articles.

Dr. Dahuja is a Life Member of Indian Psychiatric Society, Association of Physicians of India, and is Member of Indian Medical Association and Indian Association of Geriatric Mental Health.

She has special interest in Women Mental Health, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Amandeep Singh did his Master in Psychology in 1999 and Ph.D in Psychology in 2018 He is registered with Rehabilitation council of India. He is presently working in Department of Psychiatry as Associate Professor Psychologist.

He is performing all type of Psychological, Psychometric assessment and Psychological Counselling of the patient and also teaching Psychology to undergraduate students.

Dr Amandeep Singh has attended more than 18 international and national conferences. He has also attended 7 workshops, courses and trainings in Psychology, presented papers in 4 conferences and has 14 publications in International and National journals of Psychology, Clinical psychology, Psychiatry and Medical field along with 50 Google scholar citations. He has completed 11 online courses of different topic under health emergencies programs in 2020 from World Health Organization.

He is life member of Delhi association of clinical psychology, Associate member of Indian Psychiatric society, Indian association of child and adolescence and Indian journal of Psychology and mental health.

Dr Amandeep Singh has also delivered 8 lectures on different topics of Psychology in different schools and colleges of Amritsar. He has Chaired A Session “Oncology Up-to-date” organized by IMA and was Resource Person on “Mental Health Day” and “State Level CRE Programme in 2018-19.
