Dr. Karamjit Singh Gill did MBBS (1990) from Govt. Medical College, Amritsar and MD (1995) in Pathology with Gold Medal from JIPMER, Pondicherry. Presently he is Professor & Head of Pathology at SGRD.

He has been invited as Guest Faculty and has delivered faculty lectures at various international and national conferences. He has also chaired many sessions in various conferences.

Dr. Karamjit has 12 publications in indexed journals and has supervised postgraduate thesis work on various topics.

He is life member of IMA, IAPM, IAP-ID, ISHBT and IAC

He has special interest in Histopathology.

Dr Menka Khanna completed her MBBS (1998) from Berhampur Univ, and her MD (2005) in Pathology  at BFUHS, Faridkot

Dr Harjot Kaur did her MBBS (2003) from GMC, Amritsar and MD (2008) in Pathology from MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. She has been a Professor in the Department of Pathology since 2009. She guided many postgraduates of different departments in their projects and thesis.

She has attended many national and international conferences as a speaker, chairperson, panellist and judge in oral /poster sessions. She is certified in Apheresis training at PGIMER Chandigarh. She is also a certificate holder of the Programme on Implementation of NABH standards for Blood Bank. She was a Co-investigator of an ICMR study ‘A Phase II Open Label Randomised Controlled Trial to Assess the Safety and Efficacy of Convalescent Plasma in Moderate Disease in COVID Patients’. She received the Corona Warrior Award in Feb 2021 from ISBTI.

Dr Harjot has 36 National and International publications. She has contributed a chapter, “Transfusion-transmitted infections”, in a book named “Transfusion Medicine for Medical Laboratory Technologies”. She has completed the Foundation course in Palliative Medicine through the Tips-Echo Program. She has completed Medical Education Technology courses – Basic course workshop, Revised Basic Course workshop, AETCOM and Curriculum Implementation Support Program. She is in charge of the SGRDUHS blood center.

She is a life member of Indian Medical Association, Indian Society of Transfusion Medicine and Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and Immunohematology. She is also, member of Governing body of Punjab State Blood Transfusion Council.

Dr. Sanjay Piplani did his MBBS (1993) and MD (2001) in Pathology from Government Medical College, Amritsar. Dr Sanjay Piplani is presently Professor of Pathology at sgrduhs, Amritsar. He also has a work experience of 1 year in Medicine at ESI Hospital, New Delhi.

He has been a guide and co-guide in many thesis projects. He was a member of the organizing committees of various conferences in the institution. He has participated in many National and International conferences, CMEs and Workshops. He was invited as a speaker at the conference Umeed  ‘A fight against female foeticide’ and was a speaker on ‘Problems faced in cancer registry, reporting and some remedial measures’ at the inaugural workshop organized by National Cancer Registry Programme (ICMR) and Population Based Cancer Register (PBCR) at Patiala.

Dr Piplani has 46 publications in various International, National and State journals. He was elected a member of National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) in 2018. He is a member of Institutional ethical committee.

Dr. Manisha Sharma did her MBBS (2004) and MD (2008) in Pathology from Govt. Medical College, Amritsar.

Presently, she is Professor of Pathology at sgrduhs.

She has attended more than 30 International and National Conferences and has been a speaker for paper presentation and judge for poster presentation in few of these. She has attended training programs in liquid based cytology, immune-fluorescence, immunohistochemistry and flow-cytometry

She has 35 International and National Publications in indexed journals. She is also a reviewer in some National Journals.  She is Life Member of IMA and IAPM. She has done internal auditor programme for NABL. She has supervised and co-supervised many postgraduate thesis projects of various departments like pathology, dermatology and pulmonary medicine.

She has special interest in histopathology and immunohistochemistry.

Dr. Shubhra Ramachandani completed her MBBS in 2007 from JSS, Mysore, and obtained her MD in Pathology in 2014 from SDUMC, Kolar.

She then joined Govt Medical College, Kota, as a Senior Resident and was subsequently promoted to Assistant Professor at the same institution. During this period, she also served as a part-time Pathologist at SRL, Kota.

Later, she completed an Observership and Certificate Course in Oncopathology at Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute (Tata Memorial Centre), Guwahati.

At present, she is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (SGRDIMSAR), Amritsar. She is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, diagnostic services, and research.

Dr. Shubhra has published eight research articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. She has participated in various academic conferences, workshops, and continuing medical education (CME) programs.

She is a Life Member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA).

Dr. Abhishek Kumar Singh completed his MBBS (2010) from King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He joined the MD Pathology program in 2018 at the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, where he received comprehensive training in diagnostic pathology.

He subsequently completed 3 years Senior Residency in the Department of Pathology at IMS, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, gaining extensive experience in Histopathology, Cytopathology, Hematology, Clinical Pathology, and laboratory diagnostics.

He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (SGRDIMSAR), Amritsar, Punjab. He is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, diagnostic services, and research.

Dr. Abhishek Kumar Singh has published six research articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has participated in various academic conferences, workshops, and continuing medical education (CME) programs.

He is a Life Member of the Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists (IAPM).
His areas of special interest include Histopathology and Hematopathology, with a keen interest in diagnostic pathology and clinicopathological correlation.
