Dr. Mandeep Kang completed BPT (2003) and MSPT (Masters in Sports Physiotherapy) (2005) from GNDU, Amritsar. She completed PhD in 2022. She worked as lecturer in Khalsa College, Amritsar and joined SGRDIMSR in 2006. She is presently working as President, Indian Association of Physiotherapy Women Cell Punjab State.

She was awarded the prestigious award "Woman of Excellence Academics" in 2nd National conference of IAP Women Cell in September, 2024 and "Achrekar of Physios" award in Sports Connect-4 in Dec, 2022. She was honoured as a judge in " PG category paper presentation: Neurology in 2nd National conference of IAP Women Cell.

She has completed an advanced certificate course in Yoga from Punjabi University, Patiala. She ia member of Board of Studies, Khalsa University, Amritsar. She has been an external examiner for graduate and post graduate examination at various colleges. She has given 1 month training to PhD research scholars of Nursing College for the partial fulfillment of their PhD program and has conducted many webinars for physiotherapy students.

Dr. Kang has attended over 30 conferences and presented 17 papers in various national conferences. She has 22 publications in national and international journals. She has organized many workshops on latest techniques like Kinesiotaping, Mobilization, Dry Needling and Cupping therapy and was organizing secretary of CME “Rebooting skills in physiotherapy”. She was organizing committee member in 1st International Conference, Sports Connect-4, Sports Connect -5 and 2nd National conference of IAP Women Cell. She is a life member of Indian Association of Physiotherapists.

She worked as a Consultant Physiotherapist in Pulse Hospital,Amritsar and joined SGRDIMSR in 2018. She is presently working as a Consultant Physiotherapist in Sri Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital,Sri Amritsar, a unit of SGRDUHS.

She has completed fellowship in Palliative Care(FIPS), from SGRDUHS in 2021. She is a certified Dry Needling Therapist(CDNT),Kinesiotaping Therapist(CKTT), certified Cupping Therapist(CCT). She was appointed as a Sports Physio in All India Inter University Cycling Competition.

She was a speaker in the 1st International Conference NAPCAIM-2022 held at SGRDUHS,Amritsar,on the topic(Role of Phtsiotherapy in Palliative Care).
