Dr. Mandeep Kang is an accomplished Physiotherapy academician, researcher, administrator, and clinician with nearly two decades of experience in Physiotherapy education, research, and clinical practice. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar, in 2003, followed by a Master of Sports Physiotherapy (MSPT) from the same university in 2005. She earned her PhD in 2022, with research focusing on the physical disability, psychological, and socio-economic status of stroke survivors in the Amritsar district of Punjab. She began her academic career as a Lecturer at Khalsa College, Amritsar, and joined Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Amritsar, in October 2006. 

Dr. Kang has made significant contributions to academic leadership and professional development in Physiotherapy. She is currently the President of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) Women Cell, Punjab State, and previously served as Joint Coordinator of IAP Punjab. She is an Editor of the Indian Journal of Physical Therapy (IJOPT) and actively serves as a peer reviewer for several national and international journals. She is also a member of the Board of Studies of various universities, including Khalsa University, Amritsar, and has been appointed as an External Examiner for undergraduate, postgraduate, dissertation, and viva examinations in numerous institutions. In addition, she has served as an Expert Member of PhD Research Degree Committees and has mentored PhD scholars by providing research methodology training as part of their doctoral programs.

An active contributor to continuing professional education, Dr. Kang has delivered lectures at prestigious academic platforms, including the 9th and 11th International Conference of Physiotherapy (INCPT) at AIIMS, New Delhi. She has also delivered lectures on lifestyle advancements, sports injury rehabilitation, and the biomechanics of the diabetic foot during Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs organized by the Department of Plastic Surgery, Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences and Research, Amritsar, and the Indian Podiatric Association. She has organized and conducted numerous webinars, seminars, workshops, and CME programs for physiotherapy professionals and students. Additionally, she has completed an Advanced Certificate Course in Yoga from Punjabi University, Patiala, further strengthening her expertise in holistic rehabilitation.

Dr. Kang has been recognized nationally for her academic excellence and professional contributions. She  has a copyright registered for the work titled "COMPREHENSIVE MULTIDIMENSIONAL ASSESSMENT TOOL FOR EVALUATING PHYSICAL, bSOCIOECONOMIC AND FUNCTIONAL INDEPENDENCE IN CHRONIC STROKE PATIENTS." She received the prestigious "Woman of Excellence – Academics" Award at the 2nd National Conference of IAP Women Cell and Physiomanthan in September 2024. She was also honored with the "Achrekar of Physios" Award during Sports Connect-4 in December 2022. She served as an esteemed judge for the Postgraduate Neurology Paper Presentation at the 2nd National Conference of IAP Women Cell and has been invited as a panelist, chairperson, scientific committee member, and organizing committee member for numerous national and international conferences, including Sports Connect-4, Sports Connect-5, the 2nd National Conference of IAP Women Cell, and the upcoming AWP International Conference 2026.

Her academic and research contributions are extensive. Dr. Kang has attended more than 30 national and international conferences and has presented 17 scientific papers at various national conferences. She has authored 22 research publications in reputed national and international journals. She has also organized several hands-on workshops on advanced physiotherapy techniques, including Kinesio Taping, Mobilization, Dry Needling, and Cupping Therapy, and served as the Organizing Secretary of the CME "Rebooting Skills in Physiotherapy." She is actively involved in scientific publishing, peer review, curriculum development, and academic quality assurance.

A dedicated professional committed to advancing the profession of physiotherapy, Dr. Mandeep Kang continues to contribute through teaching, research, academic leadership, clinical excellence, and professional service. She is a Life Member of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists and remains actively engaged in promoting evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and excellence in physiotherapy education and healthcare.

Dr. Sandeep Kaur completed her BPT( Bachelor of physiotherapy) from Khalsa College, Asr in 2007 and MPT (ortho) from Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Annamalai University and FIPC from SGRDUHS, Amritsar in 2021.

Dr. Mansimrat Kaur completed BPT in (2021) from Guru nanak dev university, Amritsar and earned her MPT in Orthopedics with a gold medal in (2024) from Khalsa College, Amritsar. She is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), dry needling, cupping therapy, and kinesiotaping.She presented a paper at the 2nd National Conference and has actively participated as a delegate in renowned events such as the World Physiotherapy Conference 2019, the 2nd National Conference of IAP Women Cell and Sports Connect 2021.

Dr.Arshdeep kaur Sarkaria completed B.P.T from khalsa college, Amritsar with 6 months Internship program from IVY Hospital, Mohali (2016). Completed M.P.T (Neurology) from Punjabi University, Patiala (2019). Worked as a senior physiotherapist in Amandeep Medicity a unit of Amandeep Health Care PVT.LTD. Amritsar (2019-2024). Worked as a senior physiotherapist at ABTP in Abhinav Futuristics Private Limited (2024-2025).

Dr. Amandeep Kaur completed BPT in 2023 from Khalsa College, Amritsar and perused her MPT in Cardiopulmonary in 2025 from Khalsa College, Amritsar. She is certified in Dry needling and cupping therapy. She presented a research poster in Sports Connect 6 and got 3rd position.

Dr. Karandeep Kaur completed BPT from Guru Nanak Dev University,Amritsar in 2017 and FIPC from SGRDUHS,Amritsar in 2021. She worked as a Consultant Physiotherapist in Pulse Hospital,Amritsar and joined SGRDIMSR in 2018. She is presently working as a Consultant Physiotherapist in Sri Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital,Sri Amritsar, a unit of SGRDUHS. 

She has completed fellowship in Palliative Care(FIPS), from SGRDUHS in 2021. She is a certified Dry Needling Therapist(CDNT),Kinesiotaping Therapist(CKTT), certified Cupping Therapist(CCT). She was appointed as a Sports Physio in All India Inter University Cycling Competition.
 
She was a speaker in the 1st International Conference NAPCAIM-2022 held at SGRDUHS,Amritsar,on the topic(Role of Phtsiotherapy in Palliative Care).
 
She is a life member of indian Association of Physiotherapists.
