Dr Arvinder Singh did MBBS (1986) and MD (1998) in Radiology from GMC, Amritsar. He joined PCMS I(1989) and took retirement as Professor & Head, Department of Radiodiagnosis & Imaging, GMC Amritsar (2021). Presently he is Professor & Head, Department of Radiodiagnosis & Imaging, SGRDIMSAR. 

He has participated in various National and International conferences as Presenter and Chairperson and has more than 55 publications as Original articles and Case reports. He has supervised postgraduate thesis work in more than 30 theses of various subjects. 

Dr Arvinder is life member of IRIA and  ICRI, and has been conferred the Fellowship FIMSA. He is organizing secretary of Amritsar Radiology Forum and has organized three Conferences/CMEs. 

He has the credit of publishing two books on Psoriatic Arthritis and Hydatid Disease: a worldwide Zoonosis under LAP (Lambert Academic Publications) Germany.

Dr. Kunwar Pal Singh passed MBBS (2000) from Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot and DNB (2008) in Radiodiagnosis from Advanced Diagnostics and Institute of Imaging, Amritsar. He joined SGRD as Senior Resident in 2008 and is presently Professor of Radiodiagnosis.

He has been invited to deliver faculty lectures at various international, national, zonal and state level conferences. He was part of the organizing team of various conferences. He has 22 research publications in various National and International journals and has supervised postgraduate thesis work.

Dr Kunwar Pal is a life member of Indian Radiological and Imaging Association, Indian College of Radiology & Imaging, National Musculoskeletal Society and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Society. He is Vice President of Indian Radiological and Imaging Association, Punjab State Chapter, 2020-21.

He has special interest in the field of Musculoskeletal Imaging.

Dr Amandeep Singh completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Amritsar, in 2005 and secured First Position in the MD Radiodiagnosis examination from Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Amritsar, in 2010. He was subsiquently selected for Senior Residency in the Department of Neuroradiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

He is presently serving as Professor in the Department of Radiodiagnosis & Imaging at Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Amritsar. He is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, academic research, patient care, and mentoring postgraduate students. His clinical expertise spans dedicated fetal imaging, obstetric and gynecological imaging, pediatric imaging ,musculoskeletal Imaging and interventional radiology. He has a special interest in image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic interventions including chemoport insertions and is actively performing minimally invasive management of varicose veins, offering advanced endovenous therapies including Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA/EVLT), Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA), Glue treatment / ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy.

An accomplished academician and internationally recognized radiologist, Prof. Singh has been invited as faculty at some of the world’s most prestigious radiology conferences, where he has delivered invited lectures, chaired scientific sessions, conducted workshops, and participated in expert panel discussions. His international faculty engagements include the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Chicago, USA; the European Congress of Radiology (ECR), Vienna, Austria; the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) Annual Scientific Meeting, Australia; the Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology (AOCR); and the Annual Radiology Meeting (ARM), Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He has also been invited as faculty at numerous national and state conferences across India, reflecting his expertise in fetal imaging, ultrasonography, women’s imaging, and interventional radiology.

Prof. Singh serves as Associate Editor of the Indian Journal of Radiology & Imaging (IJRI), one of India's leading PubMed-indexed radiology journals. He has authored nearly 50 scientific publications in reputed national and interationsl indexed journals and has contributed five chapters to the IRIA Comprehensive Textbook of Clinical Radiology published by Elsevier. He has guided numerous postgraduate dissertations and remains actively involved in clinical research, peer review, scientific writing, and mentoring young radiologists.

His academic excellence has been recognised through several prestigious honours, including the IMA National Academic Excellence Award, the Dr. N. G. Gadekar Memorial Oration, the Dr. Diwan Chand Aggarwal Memorial Oration, the Dr. V. P. Lakhanpal Gold Medal, and multiple President’s Appreciation Awards conferred by the Indian Radiological & Imaging Association (IRIA) for his outstanding contributions to radiology education, research, and professional activities. He is the youngest  Radiologist Pan India to get these awards and orations.

Prof. Singh has helf several important leadershop positions in national professional organisations. He is the President of the Punjab State Chapter of the Indian Radiological & Imaging Association (IRIA) and served as the National Joint Secretary of the Indian College of Radiology & Imaging (ICRI). He is the Chief National Coordinator of the IRIA Annual Sports Committee, also the served National Coordinator of the IRIA UTSAV Committee, Research and Ethics Committe, and several national academic and scientific committees dedicated to advancing radiology education, research, and professional development.

Dr Deepti Naik did MBBS (2001) and MD (2004) in Radiology from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal (MP). She has done European diploma in Radiology(EdiR) in 2020. She has worked in M.S.Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore(Karnataka) from 2005 to 2019 and after that in Devraj Urs Medical college, Kolar(Karnataka) from 2019 to 2023. She joined SGRDIMSAR in 2024 as Professor.

She has participated in various National and International conferences as Presenter and Chairperson and has more than 35 publications as Original articles and Case reports. She has supervised postgraduate thesis work in more than 20 theses. 

Dr. Deepti Naik is life member of IRIA. She has organized three Conferences/CMEs. 

She has the credit of publishing two text book chapters.

Dr Sidharth Mohindru did MBBS (2016) from GMC, Amritsar and was the topper. He completed his MD (Gold Medalist, 2020) in Radiology from DY Patil hospital, Navi Mumbai. 

He has worked as a Senior Resident in SGRDIMS&R from 2020-2023. He is currently working as Assistant Professor since 2023.

Dr. Ankita Kanwar did MBBS (Gold Medalist, 2016) from VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi and was the overall University topper. She completed her MD (2021) in Radiology from ABVIMS and Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi. Further, she secured additional DNB in Radiology in 2022. She has also done certificate couse in fetal medicine and fellowship in cardiac imaging. She has worked as a Senior Resident in VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital and ABVIMS and Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi from 2021 to 2024. She is currently working as Assistant Professor in SGRDIMS&R since 2025.

She has participated in various National and International conferences as Presenter and Faculty Her poster presentation was selected for ‘Invest in the Youth’ (IITY) by European Society of Radiology (ESR) for ECR-2020. She was awarded the certificate of merit in oral paper presentation in IREP-2021.

Dr. Ankita Kanwar is life member of IRIA, IACI and SFM. She has organized many Conferences/CMEs during her residency.

Dr. Rhythm Malhotra did MBBS (2017) from GMC, Amritsar with distinctions. She completed her MD (Gold Medalist, 2022) in Radiology from Christian medical college and was awarded the best resident award.

She has worked as a Senior Resident in SGRDIMS&R from 2022-2025. She is currently working as Assistant Professor since 2025.
