Department of Biochemistry - Facilities

The clinical wing is situated in the Central Laboratory of the hospital.

Rooms 1. Elisa Room, 2. Full Autoanalizer Room, 3. Na/K and ABG Room, 4. Semiautoanalyzer  Room

Investigative equipments: The hospital has well-equipped Clinical Biochemistry Lab having latest machines and equipments.

Investigations: 1.   It is one of the major centre where apart from all the routine    investigations, specialized diagnostic techniques are employed for the benefit of the       patients.
2.   On an average the Clinical wing caters to 600 - 700 tests per day  including both routine & special investigations.

Quality Control: The laboratory has been accredited with NABL ISO 15189 Certifiction. As far as the external quality control aspect of the clinical   laboratory is concerned, we are regularly participating in External Assurance Service by Bio-Rad (EQAS) for accreditation of lab. We are regularly receiving unknown serum samples from Bio- Rad and after performing various investigation on it, we send them the report. The certificate of participation in this external quality programme is hereby enclosed.
