Department of Physiotherapy - Facilities
- The department of physiotherapy provides a extensive and integrated physiotherapy program for patients and students.
- In addition, our department has a faculty which specializes in sports injuries, orthopedics injuries, pre & post rehabilitation.
- The department constitutes orthopedic rehabilitation, neuro-rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation & pediatrics rehabilitation units.
- Department runs bachelor of physiotherapy course (BPT) with 30 seats in each year.
- Library with more than 50 books.
- The department works in collaboration with orthopedics, medicine, neurology, cardiology, plastic surgery, Oncology and ENT department.
- The department provides facilities for indoor as well as outdoor patients.
- The department also provides facilities for the critical care patients in intensive care unit.
- The faculty of the department is trained in manual therapy techniques of rehabilitation such as joint manipulation and soft tissue manipulation.
